On the way there the cyborgs are catching up to them and so is the safeguard Sanakan, however in the end the cyborgs gets the capsule with the Net Terminal Gene, which is taken to what can only be assumed to be the boss of the cyborgs. Later still Cibo loses her new body again (Sanakan gains control over her body at last) but is technically revived through… teleporting to another dimension and grabbing that Cibo to the dimension they were before in all the while being constantly pursued by the other safeguards and cyborgs since unknown to them Cibo is a mere human which is why she is capable of entering the Netsphere if she got the gene.ĭuring that time they also encouter Toha Heavy Industries built to house uncontaminated humans with a wooping 13 AIs + a central AI which is there to make sure the other AI’s are stable, ironically it doesn’t end well for that AI, but for Killy he sort of gets what he wanted a human who had the Net Terminal Gene, problem is that they need to confirm it using a lab.
Who joins Killy on his quest for the Net Terminal Gene, fast forward a bit, Cibo and Killy meets Sanakan a safeguard in disguise who has been tasked to kill Killy and Cibo sort of dies (not really, since kids these days got these things called “memory modules” where they can make “copies” of themselves), buut not before killing some cyborgs and taking over Sanakan’s body. I’m all strapped up and ready to carry on! Later on in Killy’s quest for the Net Terminal Gene he meets Cibo a former Scientist for an evil corporation. However the Safeguards has also gotten a “glitch” in their program which makes them not only target any humanoid target that doesn’t have the Net Terminal Gene, but essentially anything living except for themselves due to the formation of the Cyborgs also known as the Sillicon Creatures. These two faction are fighting each other in a war for control over the Netsphere which is essentially like a future government with all the faults included we got today.
